There is fire, there is havoc, there is man made distress
Some are fighting outside while some sulk from their own living address
A bed sheet of torment covers the earth
Try to uncover, it gets difficult, faith going to derth
A void of words, pain inside
A man taking his last breath, a baby born in a covid zone outside
Death is inevitable, but oh this pain
Can we get out of it…out of this pain….
Some loose their homes with the fire explosion,wishing there was a pour of rain to suppress
Some prayed silently for the rains to stop that night, so did I.. I want to confess !
While a father toils for justice, mourns the death of his only son
some lost the dirty political game but,some won
Death is inevitable, but oh this pain
Can we get out of it… out of this pain….
A plane crashes somewhere, there is floods of wound everywhere
A normal man walks to his office
Everyday in a fear of taking home a menace
Some cry loud; some mourn silently
There is grief there is pain do you see…? Oh heavenly……. !
The dogs are crying the forest is withering
Often there is doubt if he is hearing….
When I silently sit down to pray;
Loosing all hopes; seeing no way
An image arises…
Harder the fall, higher he rises !
While it is hard and gets harder to gasp
Hang in there… this too shall pass !
Adhere the centre cos that’s where “he” exists
