Director Viral Shah teaming up with Malhar Thakar for the third time with a film titled Aaj Na Samachar
Popular director Viral Shah took to his social media to wish actor Malhar Thakar, Happy Birthday in a special way. After the great success of Midnights with Menka and Golkeri, the director announced his third film with Malhar which is titled Aaj Na Samachar.
Viral’s social media reads, “Happy birthday ? @malhar028 now that you are 30, you will get less romantic and more topic driven films from me ?for example this one??! Here is a little birthday gift for you… our hat trick! #AajNaSamachar”
Sharing his excitement about the film, Viral Shah says, “This film was never planned, unlike the previous two. Malhar and I were randomly chatting about how news channels are gaining more TRP these days than anything else, and the idea was born. There was a pause moment and both of us together said – 3rd film?”
He further adds, “My first film with Malhar was a fake biopic, the second was a romantic comedy-drama, third is completely different. I guess this genre hasn’t ever happened in Gujarati cinema”.
The film is written by Viral Shah and ace writer Atul Unadkat.
The film is currently at its initial stage and writing is still in process. The shooting would begin post the lockdown when things would get back to normal to avoid any roadblocks.
